Why a Workshop?
It took me years between wanting to start lifting weights to actually getting my butt on the gym floor. I was too scared of not knowing enough and looking like a fool. And while I’d love to say I just did it scared, it was having a friend walk me through the process of getting started that actually got me into the weight room.
And now, I’m asking you let me be that friend Welcome to Weight Lifting.
This six week, virtual workshop series gives you the background you need to enter the gym with confidence. By combining weekly workshop sessions where we cover the theory of movement AND a step-by-step program you can follow along at the gym, this workshop is everything I wish young and anxious Zoe had to get started.
Whether you’ve never lifted a weight before, or you want to understand the why behind the random workouts you do, this workshop is for you.

6 Virtual Sessions
Session can be attended live or as an on-demand video. Each hour long class focuses on a different aspect of safe and effective strength training, with lots of opportunities to practice the motions we’re discussing and ask questions.
Accompanying 8 Week Program
In addition to our weekly sessions, you’ll get access to 8 weeks of programming designed by Zoe. This will be available through Everfit, to track your progress and stay in contact with the Welcome to Weight Lifting Community.
Take Home Learning
Stay present during our time together with the provided PDF notes detailing the topics covered and key takeaways.
